Terms of Use
Last updated: August 6, 2026 · Draft — pending attorney review before public launch

The short version
- Everything here is free, general information — not advice about your specific claim, health, or legal situation.
- The VA decides ratings and benefits; VA.gov is the authoritative source.
- Free help from VA-accredited Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) is always available, and we'll always point you to it.
- The AI assistant can be wrong. Verify anything important.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the Veteran Benefits Navigator or reviveveteraninstitute.com (the "Service"), operated by Revive Veteran Institute, a program of Revive Community Health ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Informational purposes only
The Service provides general, educational information about VA disability benefits, ratings, and processes. It does not provide advice about any specific person's situation, and using it does not create any professional relationship of any kind. In particular:
- Not legal advice; no attorney-client relationship. Nothing on the Service is legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by using it.
- Not medical advice; no provider-patient relationship. Nothing on the Service is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no provider-patient relationship is formed by using it. Clinical services offered by Revive Community Health are separate, are governed by their own agreements and notices, and are not provided through this Service.
- Not claims preparation or representation. The Service does not prepare, file, prosecute, or advise on VA benefit claims and is not a substitute for a VA-accredited representative. Federal law governs who may assist veterans with claims. Free help is available from VA-accredited Veterans Service Organizations and representatives; a directory is at VA.gov.
- The VA decides. Ratings, eligibility, and payment amounts are determined solely by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Figures shown by the Service (including calculator results) are estimates for education only.
3. Not an emergency service
The Service is not an emergency, crisis-counseling, or suicide-prevention service and is not monitored in real time. If you are in crisis, dial 988 and press 1, text 838255, or chat at VeteransCrisisLine.net — free, confidential, 24/7, no VA enrollment required. In immediate danger, call 911.
4. AI assistant limitations
The "Ask" feature uses artificial intelligence. It is designed to give only general information and to decline requests for claim-specific, legal, or medical advice — but like all AI systems it can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and its responses are not reviewed by a person before you see them. Do not rely on it for decisions; verify important information at VA.gov or with a VA-accredited representative. Do not submit personal, medical, or claim-specific details to it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to disable, overload, probe, or circumvent the Service's security or safety controls, including its rate limits and the assistant's safeguards;
- attempt to extract claim-specific, legal, or medical advice the Service is designed not to give, or to misrepresent its output as professional advice;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the Service other than through ordinary personal use;
- use the Service to harm, harass, or deceive others.
We may limit or block access to protect the Service and its users.
6. Intellectual property
The Service's original content, design, and software are owned by Revive Community Health or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Works of the U.S. Government referenced by the Service (such as VA publications) are not ours and are generally in the public domain; VA.gov and the Veterans Crisis Line are operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which does not sponsor or endorse this Service.
7. Third-party sites and services
The Service links to third-party and government sites (for example VA.gov and state veterans agencies) and relies on third-party infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their practices.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR CURRENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REVIVE COMMUNITY HEALTH, REVIVE VETERAN INSTITUTE, AND THEIR PERSONNEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF BENEFITS, CLAIMS OUTCOMES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Arizona], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Maricopa County, Arizona].
12. Changes; severability; entire agreement
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
